The use of modern greys, browns, and blacks for a color palette in the background seems like an unusually dour style of realism (for KyoAni), but the characters stand out in them through sheer personality and fitting into the naturalistic vibe they are going for in the dialogue. The dialogue is also super heavy, I had to pause a few times just to catch up and understand what was happening

Man this whole story/battle between archer and emiya is confusing asl Even if i were to take part of it as metaphorical it's still confuses me that archer implies that he's emiya. Part of it might be that archer's backstory is confusing in itself

i remember going "uhhh okay lmfao" when i first seen it

its been a while since i watched it but the way i remembered it was archer is an alternate version of emiya if he went through with the whole saving lives thing but faced the same faith kiritsugu did.

archer becoming a spirit was his way of warning emiya not to take that path/be like him or something like that idk that s\*\*\* was confusing
