Just finished a Tokyo Ghoul re read after basically 10 years since the first time i read it and man is this manga amazing, it can easily stand next to a lot of great mangas today if it were to come out rn.
Really unique and tragic story tbh, a word to describe it would be hopelessness or as Kaneki said "despair", it really induces that feeling with anxiety that everything is lost fr.

Overall a 9/10 for me even after all these years and now i can finally read Re: since when it came out i just read the first few chapters and then stopped reading manga in general, time to enjoy peak fiction

I think it's fine to criticize how he portray those scenes but saying he should be burning in hell just for tackling dark subject matter is crazy, but I never read berserk so I don't know the context of it

twitter discovers berserk every couple months or so and say the most asinine s*** about it or miura every time

that scene in particular is shown as a tragic moment for guts (the main character) and hes truly disgusted with himself after it happens but them niggas would never know it because they dont read lmao

Was kinda expecting a bit more, no staff list and no release date either. PV did a decent job at displaying the atmosphere of the VN though; the CGs of Aoko with the red umbrella always live in my head rent free
