My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999

Things I liked

• Akane the main character, she's cute

• The love triangle despite only happening for a few episodes, think it had highlight moments for the second girl

• Yamada taking care of Akane when she's sick (not really a spoiler because it happens in every romcom, still a sucker for it)

• The setting not being "high school", instead being around an online fantasy game, more of these please

Things I disliked

• Akane and Yamada having 0 chemistry in my opinion, he's just so bland and for a 20 year old I'd expect Akane to go for someone more mature, really the only thing he has going for him is looks, ofc it gets more believable over time but I still think she could have better options

• I would've liked more focus on the love triangle maybe have Yamada actually debating the two options? Would show more character development too

• The video game itself and the interactions inside of it aren't interesting enough

• Akane's drunk confession... not a fan of "funny" confessions especially when it's the season finale, it actually ruined it a little for me

Definitely read it. It's about a 29 year old guy living his life to the fullest with his friends, family etc trying to escape the hard working Japanese society. The story has a very natural progression to it like its real life.
