Man this Eupho episode was tense as s*** holy f***

Kumiko lashing out at Mayu and then proceeding with "I'm not really mad about it" is hilarious; common W from my queen Tomoyo Kurosawa, her voice acting really showcases how uncomfortable and anxious Kumiko feels in nearly every interaction with Mayu

Also, I never got to say this before but Kanade is easily my favorite addition to Kitauji since Kumiko became a 2nd year, she's so chaotic plus her dynamic with Kumiko is really fun. The banter between them when Kanade was trying to console Kumiko is why I love their friendship so much, Kanade is also always very real with her (in a pestering sort of way)

Might be an unpopular opinion as I have already seen a lot of people say that Reina is just obsessing over Taki again but I feel like she is actually really conflicted over the audition results. She made it very clear how much she wanted to play with Kumiko and how much faith she has in her, the results were probably a shock to her too as she can't imagine someone she idolizes so much not picking someone she has put so much faith in which is also why she is so frustrated this episode. Kumiko pretty much lying to her face during her argument with Shu when Reina wanted some reassurance from her was the nail in the coffin as it goes against all her ideals.

Throughout the last few episodes I have had the feeling that Kumiko hasn't been as focused in her practice as she felt threatened by Mayus presence but also felt that she couldn't imagine actually losing to Mayu, there was a scene last episode where Reina was talking about Taki giving Kumiko a lot of warnings about her performance which gives me the impression that Kumiko has been really off her game (probably due to her being president and also because Mayu has been living in her head rent free) and hasn't been putting in the effort. So while I do think that Reina is conflicted about the results I think she is also slightly frustrated at Kumikos lack of effort; I think her comment on the bridge (and the way that scene was directed) about people complaining due to their "lack of effort" is obviously directed straight at Kumiko.

Anyway, this was a beautiful episode, a lot was going on but I wanted to talk about Reinas thought process since I feel like there was more to it than Reina just obsessing over Taki. Also cause I just wanted to talk about this show, theres not much to talk about since its... just really f\*\*\*ing good lmao
