Some of the Manga I read in the last year or so that I liked:
SoreMachi (A weird and fun Slice of Life with Sci-Fi, Paranormal things and really everything in it. Has become my favorite of the genre)
Sora Ni Mairu (It's only like 3 volumes. Very interesting premise for a sci-fi story)
Kyo Kara Ore Wa (Funny Delinquent Manga and likeable characters)
Rough (A very concise sports / rom-com Manga which you can probably read in 2-3 days. Has the best confession scene I've seen so far)
Parasyte
Ashita no Joe (Boxing Manga but really it's about a boy growing up in the 1960s slums in Tokyo finding his way in life. Very old tho)

Recently got the Kaguya ost on vinyl, its very sparse and quaint
Probably my second favorite Hiyashi score behind Nausicaa
Slam dunk
Maybe a dumb question, but do I need to watch the og show before I watch The First Slam Dunk?

I believe it's a sequel to the anime. I haven't watched either so I'm not sure
