Gonna check it out once I slowly finish the last season of anime

i actually think that top to bottom this might be the best season ive ever watched in terms of production.

i try to limit myself to 10 seasonals a season and its usually pretty easy cause only like 3 shows a season look decent but its actually difficult this time around

Girls Band Cry - 4 stars

Best thing about this anime is the cast of characters. Nina is pretty childish and overdramatic, she's a little corny but that makes her character interesting. The rest of the cast are all chill and have nice chemistry between them, and that is the main strength of the anime. It's a simple, cliche story that has a wholesome vibe.

3D animation is usually not my thing but it actually looks great here and makes the anime feel unique. As for the music, I wasn't really feeling it. The plot insists Togenashi's music is indie and more "rock" compared to Diamond Dust but I don't really hear anything special. The best song is the opening song to the anime.

Overall I would recommend this anime if you like character-focused slice of life or cute girls doing cute things. Or this kind of animation.

What was this second elusive samurai episode I have never seen an anime jump from unbelievable awesome animation to clunky terrible after almost every sequence.

Still overall awesome but wow what was that. Its like one shot is brilliant, 5 seconds later One Piece filler

Sakuna looks good, people are giving mixed reviews on Na Nare. Will watch those too

umeharas run of sansha sanyou -> wep -> bisque doll -> bocchi -> nige jouzu is insane im ready to put him over fukushi at this point

feels like every umehara show gives creators so much freedom to experiment and deviate from what is generally expected. no wonder he has no problem finding talented people to work on his shows

watching fake hyouka is actually killing me i cant help but compare it to hyouka and it just feels so disappointing

even with someone like takeuchi storyboarding episode 2 and providing some scenes with interesting layouts and shot composition, it really is nowhere close to hyoukas ability to turn the mundane into a visual spectacle

i would rec starting with run with the wind since it’s only one season and has a definitive ending

one piece is like 1000 eps and still going

astro note is just alright

dungeon meshi just started so you’ll be left w a cliffhanger
