I'm reading Berserk and just finished the Golden Age Arc. And man, it was really emotionally taxing. I didn't go into it completely blind (I already knew about the outcome of that event), but I was still surprised by how many other scenes managed to elicit an emotional response from me. To call ts sad is a real understatement.
