Harukana Receive is actually pretty wholesome
just bumped it from ptw to watching
is this you @MyNight
yea
Watching HxH the character of alluka is very interesting. Killua calls alluka "she" but the other brothers call alluka "younger brother". Alluka has another entity inside her that the rest of the family is afraid of/doesn't accept. From what I've read there are many possible explanations, since the story never makes things explicit. But there are some interesting parallels here that the author, Togashi, leaves to the interpretation of the audience.

that's interesting
I should take the time to reread through HxH now that I can actually read the original, but for manga that s*** is a drag because sometimes Togashi just decides he's writing an LN instead of a manga

Tbh that complaint is overblown, there are at best 10 pages of wall of texts in the entire manga, and most of them are in the latest arc which honestly needs them lmfao
Is the impilication of that post credit scene in uncle isekai that the elf knocked this man out and had her way with him

I have two episodes left to finish the tv show. And I was planning to start reading the manga where the show leaves off.
Is the manga worth reading from the beginning?

Id say yes, although maybe reading from the beginning just as you've finished the anime may be tiring, but in general i think the manga is superior to the anime. I love hxh 2011 to death, but togashi's distinct art style, the ever present gloominess and overall darker tone of the manga, and the pacing of the chimera ant arc especially being generally faster in the manga (although of course it depends on the type of reader you are) make the manga the superior version to me. But anime has amazing voice acting, a dozen episodes with geniunely great animation, amazing ost and is definitely more approachable. I think you'll be good with reading past where the anime ended for now

Aight, thank you for your insight
HxH finale end credits had a mf tearing up
"You should enjoy the side quests. A lot. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you're hunting for."
Fantastic show.
