spent the last 3 months downloading and converting all 136 episodes of oishinbo from the one youtube channel uploading them with subs and i haven't even watched 1 episode, real archiver s***

don't even know how this channel got the subs. on an early episode the inka-subs channel left a comment saying it was their subs and the uploader wasn't crediting them. weirdly though the inka-subs site and their nyaa only has subs up to ep 57

i would watch this anime

during covid they re-ran the series on youtube with official subs - which have since been all removed
inka uses those official subs as a base and re-tl's them
idk for sure but this youtube acc shamelessly stole subs from inka so i wouldn't be shocked if they're just re-uploading with the old official subs

i remember hearing about the show being ran on youtube with official subs but i didn't know that was a covid only thing. i was searching for it a while ago and figured it just ended up never happening cause i couldn't find any info about it

that would explain how this channel is so far ahead of inka-subs. that was another thing that was tripping me up lol. i'll have to download an inka-subs episode at one point and compare it to the official subs

last year i found a channel that was uploading older anime, including oishinbo, and i believe it got taken down, which would make sense if they were reuploading the official subs
