I don't want ever want to see a western show again, it's all young justice/Ben 10 animation regurgitated again and again and again. Please may I have some recs of top tier animation and expression from anime. My fav rn is boogiepop phantom, but JJK is prolly my favorite modern big budget one. I'm a fan of anything early 2000s and earlier, and anything with abstract impact frames

Lmao western animation is baby soft. Like complete overcorrection to the brutal environment to Japanese animation.
And it's even more stupid cause majority of both shows are outsourced to Korea to finish in-betweens.
So really storyboard artists and animation directors are f***ing ass in the west rn. The big talent is saved for movies only
