PsychodramaIt was dope. Some of the sci-fi elements definitely needed an in depth explanation but I get that that was not the direction the film was going for
it's a nice cathartic coming off age story with inspiration from Beauty and The Beast but in a different age
it was nice, not great, but nice, I enjoyed it.
I still have yet to peep girl who leapt through time, Wolf children, etc but I’ll check out Hosoda’s stuff soon

I dont remember much from girl who leapt through time since it's been awhile since I watched it but I found it on a top 10 list of best anime with time travel lol (no spoiler, it's in the title)

wheatleyThe author other works are easy recs here. 'Monster' is considered a masterpiece and 'Billy Bat' is solid. There's also the 21st Century sequel if you haven't read
Others works check out 'Aku no Hana' it has cult element. 'Omoide Emanon' is a good one if you enjoy mature art style
