evil s*** are a turn off for me but in many manga that (from what ive seen) seem similar to this I enjoy the more fairytale campy esque vibes like you said

i love that too, seeing the crew with their quirky behavior just travel the open sea is amazing
I dont remember which story arc its from but at a certain point when they were underwater among the sea kings it was beautiful ...luffy was like ''oi sanji can we cook these?''

aglowhas anyone seen Made In Abyss? I was watching it on a recommendation and in the second episode there are some very questionable scenes - like the protagonist (a little girl) being physically punished by an adult while naked
s*** only lasts a split second but it's presented so lightheartedly s*** completly took me out of the experience. I didn't even finish the episode cause that s*** felt so gross.No yeah it's f***ed up. Just take it as it is

ngl I’m still subs over dubs even if you don’t understand the language but super crooks is way too american to be watched in Japanese. Felt like I was watching it in wrong language/dub when I was watching in Japanese.

Netflix. None of the characters in the show are Japanese/Asian and 98% of the show takes place in the Bay Area/sf + based off an American comic (I think)
