but yeah, rushing it kind of ruins the experience

Nah b take it easy, you'll enjoy everything less if you feel pressured to binge watch s*** to clear the list. We're giving you recs so you can spend your free time watching some fire s***, not homework
Of course in the end you can do whatever you want haha

Yeah i heard that slime s*** is corny and a youtuber i watch called this the grandad of isekais
Slime looks kinda weird ngl
it's hit or miss
I actually watched the first 4 episodes like meh it's mid than went back into it and the lore and world building kinda pulled me in so I'm bias towards it

Mushoku tensei a classic? The animation looks crazy good
Mushoku Tensei is for weirdo pedo sympathizers
Reincarnated as a Slime is for fun loving cuties
so yeah if you enjoy seeing someone with the mind of a middle aged man lusting over/groping female children, then you’ll totally think MT is a classic

That’s a problem that’s prevalent in anime though, like not tryna excuse it but Tokyo Revengers mc was 26 and went back in time to middle school and has a relationship/kisses his middle school crush, it’s sadly normal in anime. You get used to looking past that, that h**** middle age pervert trope is really big. I’m thinking more about the animation and story, if that’s good then i don’t mind tbh
MT is definitely the 2nd anime i would most want to delete from existence if i had the chance

Sao so that we get a few more years of anime without isekai anime consisting of 75% of the season

I think while it's a problem prevalent in anime Mushoku's MC takes it to another level of weird/not ok IMO.
I understand the animation is good but it's definitely a problematic piece of media to hail as "one of the best" when it's just a botched redemption story.

genuine question
why do a lot of anime/manga start off with amazing concepts and colorful characters but then colapse under their own setting from tryna go too big?
this is not rhetorical btw...if a formula of 10 volumes is successful then why introduce 20 new elements that make no sense in the last 2 volumes?

It's easy to get all the ingredients you need and set them up on the table, but everything that comes after you put all that in a bowl is where things can go left
Could be a lot of reasons more specifically, but you'd have to ask the writer themselves at that point yknow
