both good in different ways but I prefer manga

• you can always speed read through annoying moments
• you can take a minute to appreciate the art more (also applies to plot points like flashbacks where you're like ''damn'')
• the tone of the dialogue can be interpreted differently from every reader
• monochrome form gives more space to the imagination

only time anime wins me over manga is when im on something and dont feel like reading

Personally hearing some things said does hit different when it comes to iconic lines though

I never search for fights on youtube....no smoke but I wanna see the fights along with all the emotional build up even if ive read em multiple times so I just watch the episode run of the fights

I agree on the emotional lines getting delivered vocally although with manga you can go a few pages back and go through the visual foreshadowing for that line since a lot of authors like sui ishida like using stuff like flowers to depict emotional growth BEFOREHAND

Theyre both trash but manga is better for more niche and non-traditional stories that would never get greenlit for an anime adaptation
