if u want my 2 cents on this i'll say that gurren lagann is now one of my all time favourites but back when i started it i disliked it so much i could barely even finish 5 episodes. I dropped it, came back a year later, forced myself to watch at least 10 episodes out of boredom and it ended up growing on me
