FMA is a people pleaser anime. Its themes are so general and widely accepted that it reaches a lot of people and is loved by a lot of people like a superhero movie. For me personally, its a bit too devoid of personality and doesn’t have something that makes it set apart for me.
It also does little to flesh out the main characters by having a simple tragedy and keeping them locked into place.

I always wondered why it was regarded as a “deep” anime. It’s not really that crazy tbh. But there’s tons of video essays on it on YouTube

first 7 episodes were heat but this s*** completely went left when seizaki's whole squad caught the choppa and the us president was introduced

If we're talking about style the OG has it
And the story is great I don't know a lot of anime with a story or world on this level
Yes. TENMA GOAT DOE
In retrospect this was a bad answer that made me feel guilty and want to leave a follow up. The point that Urasawa makes with Monster ISNT that everybody sucks, it’s that all of humanity has an innate goodness inside of them. Just look at Tenma’s ideals as a person and stack them up with the people he comes across and the places he goes to.
Finished Wolf’s Rain today. Liked it solid ass show but I feel like there were a couple loose ends left just kinda laying around and a couple questions I want answered. Wish this show had somethin like how Eva got Evageeks. That’s not to say the show’s unanswered questions are necessarily a BAD thing mystery bein left behind is good when done right

Just another Kado the Right Answer at end of the day

Mfs will write video essays about anything these days, so many out there are just surface level observations that get views because of broad appeal and a good title
That being said, FMA still dope tho
Can someone recommend me a good 12 or so episode anime? Wanna start and finish something today
