Well written. I've seen mfs either call it a masterpiece or complete garbage
Devilman Crybaby has a lot of gore violence nudity blood and edgy s*** and that's why some ppl didn't like it
Also it's more style focused than story focused, the story by itself is good but the art, animation and music is what elevates it

i used to love Death Note when i first saw it (i was like 14) but i’m 24 now, and i tried to rewatch last year and had to stop less than halfway tbh, couldn’t make it through. i was very disappointed.
the writing is not good, the events are pretty predictable, Light is an unlikeable sociopath from the very beginning, etc. stuff i never noticed as a kid, but as an adult i just couldn’t stop cringing.
i don’t have a problem with the ending tho lol imo it ended as it should have. they couldn’t drag L’s arc out anymore so i was happy they introduced new characters.
I like how evil and dramatic Light is he's a really entertaining character

Sprinkle is taking it lightly from the first 30 chapters of the manga lol. After it goes through all the h**** it becomes strictly about the cosplay and photography
