i unfortunately sometimes get recommended tweets from anitwitter because i google anime and they all share data so i saw a couple of tweets about it

that and some people i'm friends with hit me up about the show and asked me if it was actually that bad and im like idk i haven't watched it

now i watched it and i'm like if people are mad about when gojo measured marin i think they just shouldn't watch anime lol

People in anitwitter lately were mad about f***ing berserk of all things and calling it trash, its a disgrace

ya i dont read it too much, it's kinda like here where some users will cape for a show no matter what, except instead of one or two users (where its kind of tolerable), it's like 50 people getting mad that you said you didn't like part of attack on titan or my hero academia

if you click on the stars on the top right you can switch from "home screen" timeline to "latest tweets" timeline so it only shows stuff from ppl you follow instead of giving you recommended tweets

Its always the ones who dont understand how stories work that criticize the classics too. Berserk is trash because there's rape and violence type beat

Even if I don't agree, I can understand if someone says "I'm not a big fan of these elements. I think they take away from the story"

but to call it trash as a whole is pure dishonesty.

I understand if some find these elements off putting or uncomfortable or trauma inducing, but the more violent moments of berserk kinda define parts of the story, and in any case miura never glorified these elements, if anything he recognizes how traumatic and destructive rape and violence can be on our main characters themselves. You can still respect something despite not being into it for valid reasons, but twitter doesnt work like that

I find the pacing of One Piece super slow, so I watched it on 1.5x speed until episode 900ish

Always recommend reading the manga you’ll catch up way faster than watching episodes
