honestly i’m one of the defenders of the anime lol but i still recognize it had its flaws as an adaptation, namely the accuracy of the character designs, cut panels and dialogue, and sub par fight animations (especially in the crown game episodes)

not after s1 lol it def started out looking pretty rough tho. s2 onward is some of the best looking comics i’ve ever read, especially the fights
