first arcs were looking awesome but then the filler s*** made 90% of watchers drop it and only the 10% of skipping ass dudes like me made it to its last arc which was a blue balls masterpiece of an adaptation

Because, despite that, the other parts of the story are actually decent and the animation is out of this world. There are positives to the show. Personally, though, the negatives made it so I wouldn't be finishing that show.

Also a majority of anime fans on the internet just like watching ""edgy"" concepts because it's not "normal" and makes them seem quirky.
