It's one of the few times that Trigger's signature 2nd half plot twists make the show even better and bigger. Darling in the franxx and Witch Academia are examples of that story telling method not working.

Why does Netflix insist on cgi anime? I was looking forward to Spriggan, and just peeped the trailer. The CGI isn't bad, but I was definitely hoping for a more traditional animation.
