it's aight, I prefer my hometown
what I really love is my village in crete.....it's so f***ing dope.....after 9 pm it gets so f***ing dark you cant walk outside if you dunno where you're going cause there's no city lights past a certain point...plus, if you go out for a drive into the city you dont see traffic lights for over 100 miles
there's also this special made alcohol called raki.....hardest liquor ive ever had....if anyone ever tries to have a water glass of that then it's assisted murder to whoever gave it to him....fr even my grandads and uncles would only drink shots of this s***
plus the good looking tourists in summer
damn that sounds dope. it sounds like itd be a boring yet nostalgic place to grow up. would love to visit a spot like that though
ive only been to heraklion and chania and rethymno on crete but they were sick
raki is insane lol my friends loved it but i couldnt drink that s*** lol

re zero is prob my favorite isekai ngl
rezero s2 started off great with all the witches and s\*\*\* but all the time it took to get from point a to point b with the sanctuary and stuff and roswaald being what everyone expected him to be like it was some huge reveal turned me off
the finale of s2 part 2 was the best part of the whole series tho ngl

my village is a few hours drive from chania. Last time I went I walked my sis down the aisle and my nephew got baptized, it was one the best periods of my life

i can see why some people were turned off but i was really into it the whole time
re:zero ep was like the most hype part of my week during s2the mansion stuff kinda had me on edge....the other dude tho, im forgetting his name, the tiger beast dude and the bug talking dude episodes....they contributed nothing.....they could've been introduced like ''okay they with us, let's move on to the witch and emilia'' and it'd still would've made no difference
but if you enjoyed it that doesnt take anything away from your experience and if im being honest s1 had more ''holes'' like that so you lose some you win some

yeah Re Zero s2 was the epitome of meandering but it was still pretty cool
def liked s1 better tho
s1 had the element of surprise tho so things less impactful made more noise

i remember going to the ww2 museum and they were talking about the nazis just parachuting into crete from the sky. sounded mad. I love greece though man i remember like every working age man i saw was chilling in the street reading the paper with his boys all day
but hell yea bro id love to visit again some time ill let u know if i do. i need some more time in thessaloniki and the non crete islands

I've been to 90% of greek islands with maybe a handful of exceptions
Rhodes (is that how you say it in english) is amazing
let me tell you some secrets...most tourists go to mykonos, santorini and when they go eat out they order salads which most of em are overpriced
what i'd advise is to go to places like rhodes, ikaria, tinos.....those places and try seafood with wine by the sea.....maybe visit a church....even for sightseeing, the wall art and carpentry in em is amazing
