hope it doesn't go the kuroko route and get too ridic. stay on the haikyuu end of things and it could be fire.

Release order is the right order

anime databases like MAL and anilist have it posted by chronological order, but yeah i dont think anyone would recommend that, at least not for a first watch

typically i see people recommend either LN release order, anime release order, or some hybrid of the two. i did LN release order for the most part but just learned a while back that youre supposed to watch hana in the middle of second season

thus. Sports shows where characters have super powers/special finishing moves mad corny

LN release order can get hectic since you have to split second season in like over 5 parts

I used to pause whenever the ''text cards'' in monogatari showed up and read every single one of them

used to catch episodes of Zatch Bell on TV back in the early 2000s, i really liked it

yea like its cool when they have slightly odd abilities (like the quick that hinata and kageyama do in haikyuu, or ushiwaka being a super strength spiker basically) but kuroko took it out for me because it got too ridic

got it downloaded along with arakawa

I didnt even know of its existence but the feel of its characters and humor has aged really well for an early 2000s shounen

having an episodic start and not getting an info dum from the get go helps a lot too

I don't think they mean for you to especially if you think about when it's broadcasted live on tv

But I seen a fair amount of monogatari fans say that they have paused to read it

My first time watching the monogatari series I paused a lot cause I was constantly high af tryin to understand everything. That's all there is to it.

My high dumb self was baited by the aesthetic like ''oh this looks nice'' but I ended up reading 50 books worth of dialogue and text cards

still a 10/10 would watch again in alphabetical order
