Yeah I read the pdf and saw plenty of beastars, I’m glad it’s at least getting some recognition in some circles. Apparently it didn’t qualify for the crunchyroll awards bc it’s technically not releasing legally in the US until March 2020

Beastars is the definition of taking it above and beyond tho, Studio Orange really is something else

Each category has two winners. A public vote winner and a jury vote winner. Jury is forced to watch every show in the category so it becomes less of a popularity contest. Will probably have more interesting winners because of that.

Also some subs are way better than dubs
Good dubs I know are really just Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop

sc24Just rewatched Death Note. The “second half” isn’t nearly as bad as I remembered. Def not as good as the original cat & mouse stuff but not bad. 9/10 show and will prob always be in my top 10
It's not bad at all, it's just not as good as the first two thirds
I like it and love the ending

Why should this old man Harada whos living on borrowed time suddenly matters, why all the staple MCs are acting so out of their character, why is the plot so focking trash. We're near the end of the this 2-cour season show and and it sure has breeze by with 0 meaningful impact
I get it's a lil boring but what's wrong with Harada sensei? I like that guy
