I read some reviews on mal a couple years ago and at that moment I knew that s*** was not for me.

I liked the Oasis intro and the whole premise and animation was nice but boy did it just not know where it’s going at all

my only problem with demon slayer (both anime n manga) is that we get a tragic backstory for a demon that just killed like 100 people for kicks....I'm like breh ...am I supposed to feel bad for him?? f*** no

I feel you fam. I hate it when shonen try too hard to be emotional...I get it when it's part of the overall plot but I dont f*** with it when it feels forced.

I'm a few chaps behind but If they do the same for muzan I'll lose my s***.

Geass is the only anime I've ever seen with an overpowered/superpowered character that actually felt like a human
every other anime just has really cheap 'moments of doubt' or they're just unrealistically atrong but Geass is more psychological so I think it's easier to feel for Lelouch as opposed to Light or any other generic action anime character

I feel for Light he got caught up in the dark side

And he wasn't just overpowered he was smart and knew how to use the Death Note to his advantage

We did get to see how in the end He regrets all the crazy s\*\*\* he did, realizes he could've lived a successful life and regrets killing L

It's Naruto s*** like Naruto sometimes sympathizes with the villains and THEY have sad backstories

I think The Promised Neverland bothered me because of demon sympathy

I mean I get the demons they want to continue eating humans and live a nice life but as a human I'd kill all of them idc

Oh hell nah, if that’s the type of sympathy that’s in Promised Neverland, I’ll probably get annoyed.

At least Demon Slayer has you “sympathize” only when the demon has been slayed, and it’s inherent Human Side can finally rest
