Watched Princess Mononoke for the first time, pretty nice movie, nothing too crazy

Damn, it always gets high praise from isekai fans so I got the impression that maybe it did some different from the rest.

I stopped watching since their trip to space. Reasons being the animation quality turn inconsistent and Steven is one insufferable c***. Swore that kid brain regress the more the story move forward

And don't think we can, anime & manga is its own culture. We can talk animation in general ofc

Story wise it is compared to the sea of isekais out there

But yea it's mainly a comedy series

It is different: it's a parody. All the main characters are selfish, terrible people who would throw each other under the bus. None of them are talented or powerful, they're all completely inept and somehow stumble their way into success. The main character doesn't give a f*** about his harem and none of the harem give a f*** about the main character, they're only together because it's convenient for everyone. It's a refreshing change of pace from serious isekai #1046 where generic self-insert MC randomly obtains ridiculous powers and a harem of girls who are all over his d*** for no reason.
