Definitely should read ToG instead of watching it, animations cheap asf and is really jarring to watch at times. Why we s*** on Black Clover for its poor animation but not ToG?
Anime be skipping on hella world building to fit everything in an episode and the less detailed explanations of tests and how the world works makes it pretty hard to follow
Wish it got a better adaptation as the first webtoon cause its not giving me any hope for the rest
lmfao the animation is an acquired taste, but that doesn’t make it bad.
you’re talking to someone who has read up to halfway through s2, so i know for a fact this world building you’re saying they skipped doesn’t exist. so far they’ve added in a couple little world building scenes that weren’t in the webtoon and went in depth about certain things earlier than in the toon like the details of Khun’s past.
only things i’ve noticed the anime slacks on is explaining some of the games like hide and seek. can only imagine how confusing the last few episodes will be if they don’t explain the final game well enough :hah

The world building im talking about are the things like how Baangs work and how they are used to fight in the tower. I feel it was a pretty important fundamental of the world to understand since how many Baangs someone controls is sometimes used as an indication for power later on, also how the instructor tells bam how it took him 2 years for him to create his first bang and people called him a genius whilst Bam only learnt it in two weeks and that his talent is something to be jealous of.
They also skipping a lot of dialogue like Hansung's real thoughts on Khun after he betrays the team which makes Hansungs character even more interesting (when he mentions he wants to break Khun into 'pieces' because of how brilliant he is).
I don't remember any world building that they added except in the crown game where they showed Black Marchs interaction with Bam before he fell unconscious. Khuns past was actually revealed earlier in the webtoon too
Adaptations not doing any justice to character dynamics like Bam and Endorsi either like when Bam went to visit Endorsi when she was injured - Hatz wasn't even there in the webtoon lol.
Also now for some reason Hwa Ryuan is on Team B? Why?
Watched Night Is Short, Walk On Girl. Pretty cool movie the musical especially was good af.
Wish more anime had the same art style
I dropped inuyasha at the band of seven arc
should've dropped it sooner.
Naraku was always on the run, inuyasha and kagome were annoying as f***, miroku's ''funny'' side got old too quick, sango and her brother were a burden and I wish koga would die already.
only characters I cared for were shippo and of course sesshomaru. (I wish he got more screen-time, dude was badass)
I just wish it didnt take me 100+ episodes to drop it.....I dont hate it tho, I enjoyed the movies since they didnt beat me over the head with same plot-concept again and again.
I bet if I watched it as a kid on tv I'd love it but right now I hope I could take back all the time I spent watching it

Do you like typical battel shounen but want more depth to it? Go for HxH
If you want more story less fights go for Steins;Gate
Just watched through 3gatsu no Lion for the first time s*** was fantastic. That bullying arc especially.

Steins;Gate. You might think it’s slow for the first few episodes but once it picks up

Not romance, but if you haven’t seen Barakamon I highly recommend it. It’s a slice of life, and it’s only 12 episodes.
Probably in my top 10 anime OAT tbh, s*** just makes me so happy
