i didn’t start reading until episode 5 or 6 so the anime is what got me hooked
i would say it’s definitely not as great as the toon so far, but as far as anime goes, it’s got a ton of potential to be great adaptation going forward. especially when they double down on every good aspect of s1 for s2. - May 30, 2020Yurinator

For example Tanjiro seeing the good in demons
Emma from Promised Neverland basically the same thing and wanting to save all the orphans
Midoriya being scared not wanting to kill anyone
