They are different routes of the same story. The beginning of UBW and Heaven's Feel will both be the same, but as the story goes on the different choices made by the protagonist will lead to completely different events and outcomes.

You HAVE to watch UBW series before you start the Heaven's Feels movies. Even if Heaven's Feel is technically a different story than UBW, the information you learn from the UBW route is important to understanding the events of Heaven's Feel.
