Still traumatized from Subaru’s first meeting with petelgeuse. That was probably the craziest episode imo
That episode was crazy, for sure. The reason I enjoyed this so much was because it explained part of Subara we knew little to nothing about - his past. All we knew about Subaru before is that he was a NEET loser, nothing else. Not about how he felt that he wasn't good enough because of being in his father's shadow, not about how he acted out trying to get attention and ended up alone, or even how he simply stopped going to school praying that his family would reprimand him.
In my opinion, a lot of his past trauma explains why his character was the way it was in S1 with key moments (like when he goes apeshit loser on Emilia) and I love that instead of it just being left to "ah well that's just how he was because he's a NEET!"
So I really appreciate the episode going into his past trauma and shedding some light onto who he is as a person, and showing him getting over his trauma.

Good post bro. This episode was actually good to me as well so now I don’t hate Subaru as much for going all loser mode
subarus parents are cool tho
This was byfar the best episode of Re:Zero from seasons 1+2.
So much is learned about who Subaru was.
No action =/= boring.
They reached the part with his parents?
The LN had me tearing up when I was reading that part.
The Sanctuary arc is gonna get brazy brazy. Y’all in for a treat.
watching my first anime on my own :D (cowboy bebop)
this s*** is amazing wow i been missing out
Cowboy Bebop is the perfect starter anime.

Yeah! It was great.
I want to read the LN but I want to read the raws and finding good quality scans in Japanese where the characters are very clear is kinda difficult. So I'm anime only until I get my hands on some raws!
Glad to hear that the Sanctuary goes crazy :)
I don’t think I’ve ever come across a character that has as much self deprecating, self loathing, and just in general thinks so low of themselves as Subaru. This s*** runs deep.
I definitely would not recommend Re:Zero to someone who is suicidal.
Oregairu continuing to depress me, ending was heartbreaking with the ballad
On a side note, why is yukinos mom such a hottie though
man y’all need to hop on this great pretenders f*** this simp anime y’all talmbout right now the f***

it’s relieving to see all these bottled up feelings FINALLY being let out. Everything’s been leading up to these last couple episodes
Oregairu actually sad as s***,
Signalling the end of Yuigahama having a chance, with her breaking down and supressing her own feelings so that Hachiman can run towards Yukinoshita.
It's only episode 4 with lots to still play out and it's already getting so sad - can't even imagine what will actually become of things when Hachiman actually confronts his feelings and Yuigahama/Yukinoshita have to face each other.

I mean the two girls basically did that in the finale of s2

I mean kinda - that felt more like 'the race is on' whereas now Yuigahama almost seems to be admitting defeat.
I'm wondering which will come first - Yuigahama and Yukinoshita having some sort of meltdown over Yuigahama realizing that Hikki is definitely head over heels for Yukinoshita|| or ||Hikki and Yukinoshita confessing their feelings for each other.

Ya i suppose. Both basically said that they have feelings they’re not admitting is what i guess i meant to say
Caught up on Re:zero. It's pretty good even though romance usually isn't my thing
Any other somewhat obscure series I should peep? Here's my MAL profile myanimelist.net/animelist/electricfeel

Not obscure but gurren lagann and evangelion are some classics you have to watch. Then i'd suggest march comes in like a lion and baccano

Bet, I only said obscure cause i've seen most of the popular ones
