Ffs that hurts
Crunchyroll is killing the game this year, Solo Leveling when
aw man streets been waiting on this one
I’m like 50 chapters or so from being caught up. It’s a good arc it’s going through right now.
i’m at 250 rn in the middle of part 5, would you say it gets better or worse from here?

Ooh you’re in the middle of Ragnarok I think yea? That part is a bit convoluted. A lot going on. But the ending of that arc is dope, and the following arc is real good.

yep lol this is def the busiest arc so far and that’s saying a lot considering how f***ing random and scattered part 3 was
introducing tons of new Bishops and Priests and abilities every couple chapters
i’m still digging it though. love the Mori Hui/Mori Jin dynamic going on rn
hibike euph s2 has got a whole different vibe than s1 to me so far, and im not sure how i feel about it. the show is basically 100% character drama now and while thats not necessarily a bad thing, i do miss the cutthroat nature of s1 especially since it feels like theres now zero stakes competition wise. im not done yet though so hopefully nationals shakes things up a little.
also kumiko is conveniently in all the right places to fix every band member's dysfunctional relationships
with such a great ensemble cast i would hope that they would spread the love around a little but i guess that's what happens when the story is locked in a mostly first person POV.
Why does yui have to keep on losing
She’s trying to keep the broken pieces together
Damn I'm doing a review of Naruto, and I'm realizing Neji was right all along and kishimoto f***ing sucks at writing lol. Ruined the series by introducing The Prophecy and that bullshit about reincarnations in the end.
Cause no matter how hard Neji worked, I mean literally beatng the s*** out of Naruto, he was never gonna win cause Naruto is literally Jesus and can win in one bullshit punch in the end.
Trash.
I also hate the God awful Sasuke relationships.
By all accounts, this man is an absolute c***, even now in Boruto. A deadbeat husband and father who's daughter doesn't even know him and who he almost killed, and he has all these people eating out of the palm of his hand like c'mon
Sasuke did NOT deserve Sakura, and Sakura even said she would've chosen Naruto if Naruto didn't boss up and tell her to go f*** her self (cause Naruto deserves way better), so she goes with the man who up until like the last f***ing fight was gonna kill you with no remorse?
Trash writing!
I guess the only good part of that is Ino glowing up and getting a real ass nigga for a husband who provides for his family and nurtures his child.
You know what shonen series plays with these same themes that Naruto does, but does it in a way that's natural, interesting, subversive, and makes sense? BNHA.
Deku tries to win with the power of will against a superior fighter in Todoriki and Bakugo and gets dumpstered, as he should.
Bakugo is a complete c*** like Sasuke and guess what? No one LIKES that nigga.
Real world scenarios. BNHA might not be perfect but at least it's got a better writer

Naruto is written way better tho, till War arc

How? I think even during its OG run we kinda knew Naruto was s*** but that's fine cause the characters and fights were raw

Kishimoto is super trash at writing female characters. In the old Naruto thread I was arguing with someone about it on KTT1.
time to start liz and the blue bird. from what ive seen of hibike s2 im not entirely convinced that mizore and nozomi can carry a movie as lead characters (even though mizore plays a mean oboe) but ill trust yall internet weebs and hope for the best.

Trust in Yamada's god tier directing skills. She wasn't very involved with S2 so thats why its underwhelming but she made a masterpiece with Liz.
