    not sure if I wanna finish kuroku basketball or not.. s*** kinda mid so far.
    Finished the first season but I prolly fast forwarded like 30% of the season. like w haikyuu I can watch a volleyball match from beg to end but w this show the basketball games don’t hold my attention and I usually end up fast forwarding to the last quarter of every game. And the characters aren’t as interesting.

    Is this worth continuing?

    Also tried starting slam dunk but I think I gotta be in the right mood to watch something that looks so dated

    wish I wasn’t all caught up w haikyuu now I got nothing to watch

    Do NOT watch slam dunk, its dated and it ends abruptly in the middle of a game, read the manga instead, timeless art and its completed. Buying it one volume at a time, on volume 3 rn and im loving it so far

    I enjoyed every single step of the journey

    I know some episodes were boring as f*** but when I was watching em as they were still airing, these filler episodes were my fix so I kinda fw em lol

    Lowkey i feel the same about dragon ball, it is basically the reason i started watching anime so i hold it close to my heart despite how flawled the anime and in general the series is

    I remember watching the cell arc on tv when I was a child and since then I viewed dragon ball as a childish show like yu-gi-oh and digimon

    super and the broly movie dope af tho. But I think it should change the formula of energy blasts and nonsense power-ups by now.

    Still need to check out the dbs manga just in case

    Dragon ball fell off a long ass time ago, super shouldnt even exist but shueisha likes to keep successful series to go on till they fall off in quality so they have to milk it until it becomes irrelevant. If you really have to read dragon ball don't bother with super and read og dragon ball manga, its in some ways a different experience from the anime

    for anyone holding out, it is not a sequel so its alright to watch this without the 2006 anime

    edit: just watched. idk it still seems to me like watching the og heightens the experience but we'll see
