Yeah Fate Stay Night 2006 is pretty much a different route but everyone says that the adaptation isn’t really that good. You can watch if you want but it’s not really required. The UBW and Heaven’s feel route (series of 3 movies. 3rd movie came out recently in theaters so you probably can’t find it online yet) are the ones worth watching. So skipping FSN 2006 won’t really affect the actual story bc it’s just a different route.

properI fast forwarded a good amount of haikyuu first season (mostly volleyball matches that were too long or opposing team backstory s*** I really didn’t care for) as well but now I’m all caught up and waiting for new eps to drop..
it’s not like these are some super deep anime series where ima miss the point of the show by skipping through drawn out basketball/volleyball matches..
I’ll never understand people who watch things like this.
Just skipping over all the build up to get to the action. What’s the point

i watched the 2006 adaptation back before UBW dropped
its weird cause it tries to adapt all 3 VN routes by converging them, so you're not getting the real story. i enjoyed it for what it was but there's no point in watching it when real adaptations for the story exist now

theres also an argument to go UBW -> Heavens Feel -> Zero which is the order Fate stans swear by since it covers Stay Night content before Zero's, but really it doesn't matter that much as long as you watch UBW+HF all before or after Zero

Yup. Phos was great, one of my favourite characters of all time. The story of her struggle to find meaning and a place in the little society of gems was done really well. She went through more character development in 12 episodes than a lot of characters do in 24.
I loved Dia's story too, and her complicated relationship with Bort.I really hope it gets a season 2.
