man I really just watched these kids LARP for 20 episodes

I know this might sound weird but after I saw that almost half of the manga I have on mal have been on hiatus (like hxh and many others) or seem never-ending (like OP and berserk) I reached the cliche conclusion that it's the journey that matters, not the destination

Ofc I enjoy a ''they lived happily ever after'' ending or any type of ending but most of the manga that I finished this year are now on the backburner (demon slayer, seven deadly sins, pandora hearts etc etc) and I realised how great it is to have an unknown joy to look forward to or an unknown route that you dont know where it'll take you tommorow and the day after that and so on and so forth .....

thats just my opinion or a personal observation if you will, that I thought I'd share (not to persuade anyone into thinking otherwise tho)

I gotta read pandora hearts still. I also wouldn’t mind starting something that’s been ongoing for years like Yona of the Dawn. I share a similar viewpoint with the journey being the best reward rather than the destination

Kinda hard to answer just because of how huge and diverse manga is compared to anime. An actual list of essential manga to cover the entire medium would probably reach into the 100s.
