Promare - 5/10
10/10 if I was basing it off of visuals alone. This is the best blending of 2D animation and CGI I've ever seen in anime. Incredibly unique visual identity, it's practically impossible to mistake this movie with anything else in the medium. Hiroyuki Imaishi just keeps winning.
The writing couldn't keep up though: both the ideas and characters needed more time to be fleshed out. It's a shame that this wasn't a TV series so they could explore the ideas more.

Masterpiece, watch it immediately if you haven't. Influneced so many movies both in the east and in the west and its one of the movies that shaped the cyberpunk aesthetic
