Yeah the way you see everyone's growth through the decades is amazing. Is it anything like monster tho?

My favorite manga of all time

well both the major antagonists are interesting, but monster def has the more interesting one for sure. 20th century boys seems more grandiose and obviously more ambitious than monster in terms of how far urasawa wanted to go. i mean it can get a bit crazy sometimes. monster for me is like a slow burning thriller, where you'll read over and over again to find small details you missed, but 20th century boys is like a sci-fi drama/action movie with hints of thriller. while yes there are small plot details you can miss, overall its a neatly packaged and presented story where at times suspension of disbelief is required (mostly because of the crazy and insane twists, which sometimes work and make sense, but sometimes can fall a bit short - in my opinion). overall both very solid manga, i like the characters in 20th century boys more and its def more upbeat

kinda like demon slayer in its very pretty, and plot is more interesting than demon slayer but still rather standard for what its about
impel down is cool but I found myself wanting it to hurry up cause I kept hearing how GOAT the next arc would be (it was)

That s*** a classic, the way Naoki Urasawa does mystery in his stories is different
'Dosanko Gyaru Is Mega Cute' and 'Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru' are my favourite manga this year. Love my wholesome nerd gyarus.
got around to reading goodnight punpun. this s*** hits different
F***ed me up for about a week. Really can't recommend it to people if I know they got a history of mental health issues.
