I mean, I would prefer if they didn't cut corners either, but studios will take shortcuts whenever possible. They're just doing their best to make up for a lack of talent or a lack of time I guess. Even the seasonal darling, JJK, cuts corners. When you compare some of the layouts compared to the final product, you can see changes that were made because they couldn't finish the more ambitious layouts in time.
