Dropped after one episode. Tomozaki is the only anime I’m reading/watching rn

Black lagoon was great definitely not perfect, revy a top tier female anime character imo. She was pretty funny and constantly gunning niggas. Revy was lit but my problem is the protagonist Rock is so damn boring. Wish we got more of the crew working together rather then focusing on rock trying to be a good guy. S*** was annoying he has no personality traits other then always trying to “save” people. Shoulda just had revy as the protagonist didn’t need that rock nigga tbh

The CGI in the latest Promised Neverland makes the stuff in Attack on Titan look like a Michael Bay film

This latest episode was easily the best of the season. Not sure if it differs from the manga at all but it's when Norman unleashes the attack on the village.

Can't say if it differs because it does happen in the manga but I feel like it happens way faster in anime (like this whole season) so maybe they skipped some things

How do you guys convince someone to try another genre than shonen lol I’m tryna put my boy on some other s*** but all he talks about is f***ing one piece (no disrespect to one piece) well if he won’t budge then I won’t force it but there’s just so much good shows out there mane. People gonna like what they like, if they feeling open minded or wanted to try something different that's up to them

You can put some stuff out there but they gotta feel like pressing playing on it at the end of the day

1. "x show is similar to x show/movie you liked" (This doesn't work if they only watch action shows)

2. You stop trying. Some people are just close-minded and don't want to try new things. Plus, being recommended things when you weren't seeking them out in the first place is a pain in the ass. Some people feel pressured to check out a show because the person went through the effort of reccing it to them. It's why I don't bother directly telling anyone ITT to watch anything.

That’s true. When he asks me to Rec him shows I try to gauge what he’s seen with something that’s “not too out there” with different blends of genres but in the end he doesn’t get to them. But yeah y’all are right I guess there’s no point and may seem annoying if someone’s closed minded. (Not that I think being closed minded is bad you just like what you like)

honestly, if I'm trying to convince a dude to watch a seinen or an obscure sci-fi anime I just show him a brutal amv like the opening scene of elfen lied or just cold screen shots and if he a real homie he catches my vibes

if I'm trying to convince a girl to watch a shoujo or a slice of life then I break down the multi-layered meanings of it and make it look overly dramatic just to get her to watch it

I made a shounen-only friend of mine that was obsessed with luffy watch tokyo ghoul by showing him a triple X amv.
