I'm watching Evangelion for the first time, is there an episode where it's supposed to "click"? Cause I'm 10 episodes in and pretty bored tbh. The art is great but the story really hasn't done anything for me and the only character that I find interesting is Misato. Probably just gonna drop it and comeback to it later, maybe I'm just not in the right mindset or mood.

The plot is irrelevant. If you're focusing on plot I think you're gonna have a bad time with Evangelion. NGE is a character study about lonely, broken characters with various psychological issues who need human connection/support but are too scared to actually open up and make themselves vulnerable to others. The characters are the main focus of the show and should be the main focus of the viewers in my opinion.

eva is good the whole way through, but the first big jump up in quality imo was when asuka gets introduced, she just brings a whole different type of energy into the show. the last third of the show also takes it up another notch, not gonna say too much about it but when you get there youll probably see

at the end of the day though eva is a character drama so if u dont rly care about the characters or watching that type of show then u wont rly care for eva

Yeah, I knew it was a character driven show before I started watching it and I do like those types of shows. But for whatever reason I'm not connecting with any of the characters other than Misato. Like I said, I'll probably just comeback to it at a later point cause I've heard how great it is and I don't want to ruin it by forcing myself to watch it.

Jujutsu Kaisen

This anime did anything a shounen has to do and it did it great. The main trio are amazing together and separately. The plot balances being fun and lighthearted and being serious and dark. I like spirits and demons and I feel like they got implemented well. A lot of incredible battles throughout the season. It's a fun weekly without a lot of weak episodes (I'd say probably the school competition arc wasn't great, but it did have my favorite battle so I can't really complain right?) Gojo is awesome. I think that's it.
