Stuff just felt extremely rushed, or impulsive as hell Like Hyke is chilling after saving dororo then loses it on a demon and storms back to daigon. I guess you can't do too much explanation wise with a character who doesn't talk but c'mon.
The other thing that bothered me is the itachi plot, this guy is the reason dororos parents are dead and he's still treating him like the cool uncle or some s\*\*\*?? Dude killed your mom and dad bro
that's all hyke knows how to do tho. You cant expect him to suppress his fighting instincts although tbh I do see how that can be a b**** move
as for the itachi plot and him not doing s***, that's part of the japanese mindset....while we in the west appreciate passionate and somewhat empathetic protags the east has the idea that heroes should be calm/collected and even passive
the message I got from this show is that no matter who you are bonds of blood or spirit will always follow you and pave the way...that's why it's my favorite anime of 2019
In the middle of reading steel ball run. I’ve been speeding the f*** out of jojo and it seems like every part get better I loved stone ocean and I thought it was better than part 5 in different ways.
Mainly due to joylne being in many fights and winning them with her stand, plus this one arc that was crazy asf, I think giorno only really fought 1v1 a couple times . He was mainly a supportive main character.
But steel ball run is dope asf too. And I hear jojolion is even crazier
jolyne is the most creative jojo imo...while jotaro used pure strength, josuke pure madness and giorno was the most cunning jolyne kept coming up with the smartest ways to use everything at her disposal...

Yea and the best part of part 6 was jolynes growth as a stand user and it was mainly due to her being in prison, she was kinda forced to be more creative with her stand powers and the fights she got into.
is shaman king out?
yeah. Hard to find though, since Netflix is supposed to sub it. Only raws or machine translated episodes up (at least when I checked last night).
Damn Shaman King looks so good with 2021 animation, only thing I'm sad about is the direction they took the opening. Coulda divided that s*** into 3-4 cool openings but instead it spans over the whole series (and relates to s*** that won't happen for a long time???)
speaking of rewatches jojo part 4 is so dope...I can already see it treated as a classic in the future like cowboy bebop
the jojo series built a good momentum from parts 3-5 but taking so long for part 6 almost ruined the fandom
I had such a hard time finishing Part 3 but I've really enjoyed Part 4 so far (like 7~ish episodes in).
Completely different tone, super cozy but still with all the crazy Araki jojo s***.
i hope we get a season 4
We will get a season 4 when the manga ends. There isn't enough content for one right now, but at the current pace I think they can just adapt the rest of the series in a 24/25 episode season 4.
Unless the author takes a direction I'm not expecting.
The negative is chapters release monthly, so who knows if it'll end in 2021/22/23.
Chihayafuru sounds aptly right up your alley. There's a competitive side where they play this traditional game and the plays can be super engaging, has a more than meets the eye kind of feel to it and then there's the SoL/romcom aspect where the series has at its core
Also the cast is top tier, when a show gets you invested in its opponent-of-the-week char that's when you know whats good
chihayafuru is the best sports anime
everything u said is correct.
such a crazy show about a niche japanese hobby

you're not the only one. When part 3 turned to ''villain of the week'' episodes it got hard to keep up with.
part 4 has my fav antagonist of all parts. Josuke not giving a f*** is also a good change of pace from all the self-righteousness

the setting felt a bit compressed and claustrophobic to me but the ending expanded more than any other part before it
Not sure what rom/coms I’ll watch this new season... I gotta see the line up...
You heard of this new show? @wusgood

Great first episode
Shaman King? I’ll peep the first episode this weekend
Shaman King? I’ll peep the first episode this weekend
You gotta find the right fansubs tho, heard there are some trash ones
If i had to say anything about the episode it would be that pacing was lowkey fast but if its only the first episodes im good with it, nothing truly important is happening that needs more time than its given so i dont mind. Obviously it would be a problem if the whole series goes by too fast but i dont think it will be the case
yooo this season looking NICE
There’s that new shaft and Nisio Isin series
Also I’m looking forward to Shadow’s House
shaman king will be 52 episodes long?? pls tell me thats not a joke
Nah, its a placeholder most likely, manga has like 300+ chapters they'd have to adapt 6 chapters per episode

I dont know if the aim is to adapt the manga completely but 52 episodes would be nice
