I want to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion, but what order do I watch this s*** in? Do I just stick with the tv shows? I see there are a bunch of movies too and they seem to retell the series? Do I skip those? Help me out someone lol

The actual series

TV series 1-26 --> End of Evangelion movie. Note that episodes 21-24 have director's cut versions which have more scenes than the original airing version so make sure you watch the DC version for those episodes. You can tell they're the DC version because the runtime will be longer than usual.

The rebuild movie series are optional as far as I'm aware. I believe they should be looked at as like an alternate version of the original series, and their plot strays further and further from the original as they go on. If you want to watch the rebuilds the order is:

Evangelion 1.0 --> 2.0 --> 3.0 --> 3.0+1.0

This chapter is easily the goriest chapter yet, for the first time I am actually afraid one of the heroes might die, not sure if One has the balls to finally do it tho. Was kinda tired of this whole arc but last couple chapters might have been the best yet.
And as always the art is phenomenal, Murata is showing the future of digital art right before our eyes.
