Has anyone read Tomodachi Game? It's fire. This author is a legend in my eyes. I have read two of his other works in Dead Tube and Game Obu Familia - Family Senki. His main characters are nothing short of amazing and are both just and twisted.

Another great manga you guys should check out is Oshi no Ko. It's from the same person that writes Love is War. It's about this Idol who got pregnant and has to conceal the fact that she is having twins. The doctor she goes to actually knows who she is because a previous patient of his was a huge fan of hers and it always stuck with him. Unfortunately she passed away due to her illness. The doctor gets killed right before she gave birth and he gets reincarnated as one of her children. Both twins are people who were reincarnated and it turns out to be a revenge story. The doctor ends up becoming an actor and the daughter is an Idol. The story goes deep into how things work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry and I think it's genius.

Had this on my list for a while but I might end up waiting till it finishes (which will probably be a while )

But the artist, Mengo Yokoyari, did the art for Kuzu no Honkai which is my one of my favorite romance/dramas. I really love her character designs. Highly recommend the anime if you into rom/drama type s*** but be warned it’s depressing lol

Yeah you are better off waiting. I am new to this manga s*** and regret jumping into all of these newer ones. I had no idea how long it takes for updates and some of them just stop and no one even updates them anymore

Art style is so good. Plus the ost is by the same dude who did Your Lie in April (Masaru Yokoyama). This one is my favorite work of his tho. Show might come off as kinda edgy but if your fw Oshi no Ko you might fw this too lol

it's not easy to learn japanese

even if your native language is like mine where there's similar punctuation, grammar and vowels it's still hard to be able to read and understand stuff like cultural references such as wordplay or ''slang''

and while you can get a degree or become academicaly fluid in japanese the thing with manga is that you'll still miss on alot....kinda like the difference of keeping a diary to explaining verbally your thought process in english
