Megase phone scene made me nut

Was impressed with Koisuru Asteroid, thought it was going to be the typical Doga Kobo fluffy CGDCT comedy but this one has put a lot of emphasis on the character relationships. Great character animation too (I already see a bunch of clips on Sakugabooru) but it's a Doga Kobo show so that's to be expected.

I liked Magia Record too. In terms of cinematography and directing it might be my favourite I've watched this season.

ID Invaded had a cool concept and it's anime original so I always have a soft spot for those. An actual novelist is the writer for it and it was pretty easy to tell based on the quality of the episode, anime based on actual novels and not light novels, manga, etc usually turn out great so I have high hopes.

Big opportunity imo for Bones to take advantage of a big budget they must obviously have to improve upon the manga

That could have been such an emotionally impactful moment. To see a kid so badly want to become someone’s hero that he fights without his quirk. Could have been Midoriya rushing at a villain without any quirk tier

True true, but I’m sure most of Bones budget went into the film that came out in December so anything that we’d get anime related is held back due to them splitting their focus up

Devilman Crybaby really the best anime of these last few years

For MHA season 4, MHA’s A team of animators went to work on the film. And their B team of animators took a break from the series to work on Fire Force.
So Season 4 is pretty much just MHA’s C team

for some reason I thought r2 was so boring until the last few eps. loved the first season tho might need to rewatch r2

Haven't catched up yet but tbh I'm not a fan of how most of the episodes are all focused on new characters/characters I don't care about and how there are like 3 flashbacks every episode

Yea they definitely dropped the ball. This arc was already kinda received poorly from manga readers. Good
Animation would’ve changed a lot of people’s feelings about the arc imo.

From what I remember it was one of the best recurved arcs at the time from manga readers, at least from Shonen Jump sites I visit and Manga Reddit.
The Mirio fight was even trending world wide when it happened in the manga

It's not like animation is bad it's just that the season is boring

MHA s4 Def was trash for about 7 eps, got good for about 2-3 eps. And idk how to feel about this next ep

LeMillion was a good episode and the new one was fine also but yeah this def a big step down from the earlier seasons

Honestly after the halfway point of s3, the show has fallen off clearly

def worth watching ep1, i thought it was cool and ill keep watching for now. some ppl found it confusing but honestly if ur paying attention i didnt think it was hard to follow along

It’s honestly pretty straight forward. Like yeah you assume more will be explained but it establishes the concept and the cast of main characters.

It just doesn’t spoonfeed it to you. People made it out to be like nothing made sense at all lol
