besides like one small plot hole that can prolly get easily fixed in the manga it’s gotta be the tightest story I’ve seen since Steins;Gate, like every single moment was important and had payoff down the line

I finished Highschool of the Dead, a story that will never truly end. The author of the manga passed away before finishing it, and they said it won't be continued without his vision. And since we haven't got a second season in the last decade, it's safe to say we won't.

So my overall opinion of HOTD is that at its best it's fun, entertaining, and filled with action, gore, and horniness. At its worst, it's either a really dumb fan fiction or just boring. I enjoyed it when they went all out (moments that had surprisingly good production quality) but when I got bored all I could think of was how bad it is.

I wasn't really interested in characters or their dynamic. They're all one dimensional anime tropes: "normal", tsundere, maiden, big sis, fat nerd and last but not least, emo self insert main character. They don't have much depth besides these qualities, except for Saeko who I ranted about earlier.

It could've been improved if they went all out the entire season. Instead it's just a few really crazy action scenes that truly make the anime.

My score: ☆☆

Do I recommend? Only if you like anime that are "so bad it's good".

A couple can "date" and be embarrassed to hold hands still in these anime lol

Shippuden is so mid. I have no idea how Sasuke has so many people that like his character…. Hate that nigga, him alone makes Shippuden ass.

bleach fell off even during the aizen arcs tbh. i was caught up to the manga at the start of fake karakura town arc and that s*** was moving slow as f***, it took like 2-3 years in real time to take that mf down and the fight itself was extremely underwhelming. didnt even care to see what happens after back then, but i will check for TYBW anime now out of curiosity.

the s*** pacing was one of the reasons i had to tap out of naruto's war arc too, but ive seen enough of the ending now to know it gets stupid as hell by then
