I hated the Soul Eater anime ending idk about the manga but I think there's no way it's the same ending

I read it waaaay back when (stopped right before the anime dropped off), I wish I remembered it well enough to say what the anime ended up cutting

theres been some non horror anime that scared the s*** out of me

like that one school night episode of flip flappers

or a few parts of shinsekai yori

generaly speaking anime is far from having a large library of good horror

yea i find most anime that fans describe as "horrors" tend to be more "mystery" oriented than anything

in recent memory, wep had some genuine scares

I think the problem of anime is that it looks drawn so your mind doesn't think the scary thing is real

Somehow Courage the Cowardly Dog did it well tho

Ending was the scariest of all

I do tag things like WEP, TPN, Death Note, Mirai Nikki as horror don't know if I'm right but they're not so different than horror anime

satoshi kon anime are really disturbing without being scary too

I thought Devilman Crybaby was horror

A lot of scary dark gruesome stuff happen in there

the only part of crybaby I found scary was how it ended...at first I hated the ending but the fact that it got this reaction from me made me realize how terrifying it was

what i meant tho was that Crybaby isnt the first rec you'll get online when talking bout horror.....most of the time like u said it's higurashi, shiki, jigoku shoujo and stuff like that

in the anime community horror means gore and crazy s***.....while in my opinion psychological narratives that can f*** you up are more horror which is why i mentioned satoshi kon
