As far as the alternate/stand alone go; Gundam Wing, and Iron Blooded Orphans my top 2. G Gundam holds a special place in my heart. It leans heavy into being a battle Shonen though.

Gundam Seed n Seed Destiny are alright. Been over 10 years since I watched it though, can’t remember the finer points, the overall story was ok though. The main character is pretty OP though.
