This manga was genius. It's set in the 1800's in japan and it's about a shogun who wants immortality. He gathers his country's worst criminals together to go to a mysterious Island where he thinks the elixir of life resides and tells them whoever brings it back will get pardoned (They are all on death row). The criminals are all teamed up with a badass executioner and they sail off to this island. Once they get there all hell literally breaks loose. There are monsters, immortals, insects that turn you to flowers etc. Just all types of crazy s***. No one can be trusted, of course not the criminals and sometimes not the executioners either. You will love almost every character.. Even the bad guys. Please check this one out. I believe an anime in the works.

Donda is fun and all but its not better than TLOP
