out of battle shounen, probably gurren lagann.

pretty generic answer but the battles only get comically bigger and bigger and i love a good coming of age story :)

finally got around to watching maquia and was kinda disappointed tbh gorgeous to look at and i was hooked on its premise, i really wanted to like this film, but the story ended up falling flat to me on multiple levels
