yeah ultimately youre right, if symphogear ends with one last symphogear live itd probably be for the best. despite how good XV was overall though, i did still have major issues with it, mainly with how tsubasa got done so dirty. if they got one more movie or something just to get that right id be down lol.

as for transformations maybe this is cheating but carol in XV was by far the most hype: MVP of the season, top 5 song, and honorary symphogear idgaf. but out of the main cast ill go with this one:

also my favourite character transformation is carol but kirika's XV is my other favourite just because of the story that the animator was told to relax on how lewd he was planning on making it it those type of stories that made me love the franchise so much. so much f***ing soul letting the animator have the freedom to conceptualize and animate his favourite girls transformation sequence

yeah the XV transformations were getting f***ing wild, really emblematic of the series itself. i did hear about the kirika story, but i was thinking the same with XV chris reloading her bullets with her titties still one of my fav transformations

ya the increasing wildness of symphogear was super noticable as the staff started getting more comfortable with their vision and became more confident in what direction they wanted to take the series. Season 1 was a mess. The difference fbetween the beginning of the series and the finale is crazy.

i do think season 1 gets a little too much flack, the whole final battle is still one of my favorite symphogear moments. not to say it doesnt get way better though, AXZ and XV was where they really hit their perfect stride imo, probably because they could be planned in tandem to close things out with a bang. GX is an interesting one too because it had some of the craziest moments in the series but you take a closer look and its mostly nonsense even by symphogear standards.

i did hear about the announcement but this is the first time im actually seeing it, thats heat, and right into radiant force too the next concert is gonna be a special one for sure, might have to haul ass over to japan whenever it gets announced.
