Is there any anime with well written Black characters who have more personality than just being angry and/or confused?

I know anime creators are obsessed with Europeans and I wanted to see more Black characters. But when they finally do get sprinkled in there I find myself wishing they weren't there.

I guess I'm also asking for anime with good writing period

I haven't seen michiko & hatchin but that has a black female lead and multiple other black characters.

am I the only one that sees most anime characters as asian unless told differently?

like obviously when im watching vinland saga or attack on titan, I don't see them as asian but a bunch of other (especially if set in japan) that's the default. I don't see the European features

Also I just started watching attack on titan and them stating the other races being wiped out is kinda funny
